MARTIAL ART DISCIPLINES & TECHNIQUES

Tae Kwon Do Tae Kwon Do (The art of Punching & Kicking) is a Korean form of martial arts. Children enjoy a soft style of this art, which is easy on their growing bodies.

Hapkido (Incorporated into TKD classes) Hapkido (The Way of Harmony, Inner Power) is a self-defense martial arts using the force of your opponent to your advantage. Hapkido includes a vast variety of arm and leg joint locks, weapon techniques, throw, kick, hit, and nerve pressure techniques.

Ho Shin Do This Korean-based Martial Art was started in 1987 and is considered to be a soft style. It incorporates the strong emphasis in striking as found in traditional Korean arts. Through it's heavy influence from Grandmaster Choi's implementation of circular body movements, HSD generates power for anyone of any size. It is also considered to be a close-quarters art as well. Through the Hapkido that it implements, HSD's self defense tactics are renowned for being effective as well as the most practical in modern self-defense.
Jui Jitsu Jui Jitsu is a very soft style that revolves around grappling, throws, and submissions.
Weapons Defense Weapons Defense will be incorporated into many of the classes, along with "real-world" Self-Defense.
Stretching Flexibility is increased with warm-ups & stretching in each class.
Instructor Training Instructor Training and respect is emphasized with students of all ages. The students are encouraged to help other students, lead stretching and lead in the basics.
