I have been working out at Iron Dragon for over 3 years now and have enjoyed every moment of my time there.  The Tenants recited at the beginning of every class instill qualities into everyone in class giving people confidence in themselves as well as others.  All of the students and the black belts there work together helping one another learn and grow at becoming better persons and martial artists.  Everyone is treated as one big family and they all help each other through tough times.  What keeps me going there are things like the No Contracts; willingness to work with you no matter what the circumstances in class; the patience and guidance from the Black Belts; the caring and respect everyone has for one another, and all the talent and skill from different martial arts styles of the instructors under one roof.  Never before in any other martial arts school that I have been to before have I found so much to learn and high quality of instruction under one roof.

My Daughter has been going to Iron Dragon Martial Arts for 3.5 yrs now.  Before going she was a very shy, quiet little girl that was very nervous around people she was not familiar with.  In the family environment of Iron Dragon the discipline that is taught has helped her to grow into a young lady. She has respect for herself and others as well as confidence and self awareness.  Training there has helped her in school when making choices in friends as well as priorities in completing daily tasks.  The instructors are very nurturing and truly care about each and every student.  They make a point to learn the strengths and weaknesses of each student by getting to know them individually.  My daughter knows that if she has any problems she can go to any instructor to discuss it and know that she is going to get a response that will make sense.  She is still that shy, not so quiet, nervous girl, but is more confident in her everyday life. My daughter is now 12 and a First Degree Black Belt and looks forward to going to class and loves doing martial arts and it is due to the people she is fortunate to have made friends with at Iron Dragon.

We joined Iron Dragon because I was looking for an activity that my son could participate in outside of school and I can honestly say that our lives are better since we became part of the Iron Dragon family. The confidence, values, and pride the school, and Master Mickens, instill in my son are priceless. We look forward to being a part of the program for many, many years.
